CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
We understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, we handle each situation on a case-by-case basis because, well, sometimes things are beyond our control. That said, we've outlined our general cancellation policies below. If something unexpected comes up, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to discuss your specific situation.
24+ hours notice: No cancellation fee
Less than 24 hours notice: $10 cancellation fee, due immediately upon cancellation
Less than 14 days notice: Cancellations or changes (reducing the number of visits) will incur a fee of 50% of the per visit rate for each visit cancelled.
Less than 14 days notice: Cancellations or changes (reducing the number of overnights/visits) will receive a 50% refund for each day cancelled. This is because we likely turned away other clients to fulfill your original reservation.
Less than 72 hours notice: Cancellations or changes within 72 hours of your reservation’s start date will be charged 100% of the original cost.
All cancellations or reservation changes must be communicated via TEXT (not email).
PAYMENT
Payment is due before the initial scheduled visit. We accept Zelle, Venmo, or cash. A deposit of 50% of the total reservation cost is required upon booking for overnight stays, pet sitting, pet transport and event sitting reservations.
We require all our clients to have certificates of the rabies, distemper, parvovirus and Bordetella vaccinations.
Dogs must be on heartworm and flea prevention.
Cats must be on flea prevention medication.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients must provide Park Circle Pet Concierge with one or more of the following for home access: a house key, a keyless door code*, or a house key in a lockbox.
*Please ensure that the keyless lock has sufficient battery life. Park Circle Pet Concierge is not responsible for any malfunctions of keyless entry systems or lockboxes. Clients are responsible for verifying these systems are functioning properly before their reservation. In case of malfunction, the client will be responsible for any locksmith fees incurred to gain home access.
Clients must notify us if anyone else will have access to their home to check on their pet(s) while our services are in use. Park Circle Pet Concierge is not responsible for any incidents involving your pet or home while another individual (not affiliated with PCPC) is present.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the home and yard are secure and pet-proofed before our initial visit. This includes confirming that gates are properly latched, fences are secure, and doors to off-limits rooms are closed. Park Circle Pet Concierge is not liable for any damage to the home or personal property, nor for any injuries that pets may sustain while in their home or yard.
If we determine it’s necessary for your pet’s safety, we may adjust the thermostat, open or close windows, or turn the AC or heat on or off. We will notify you of any adjustments made.
Clients must provide enough food and any necessary medications to last for the entire reservation period. If additional food or medication is required during the stay, Park Circle Pet Concierge will be reimbursed immediately, along with an additional $20 service fee if pick-up is required.
